US President Trump threatens to impose 100% tariffs on Canada: Warning to block trade deal with China
Toronto. US President Donald Trump has renewed his threat to impose 100% tariffs on Canada. He warned that China would one day eat Canada alive if it stopped a trade deal with China.
US President Trump also warned that China’s communist trade policy would “devour” Canada and end our “normal way of life”.
President Donald Trump has not only launched another personal attack on Prime Minister Mark Carney, but has also threatened to impose a “100% tariff on all Canadian goods” going to the United States if “Canada makes a deal with China.”
In a post published on Truth Social, Trump also mocked Carney as the governor of the 51st state of America.
“If Governor Carney thinks Canada will become a ‘drop off port’ for China to send goods and products to the United States, he is completely wrong,” Trump wrote. “China will eat Canada alive, swallow it whole, which will include the destruction of their businesses, social structure and general way of life.”
