Blood donation program organized by Lions Club of Mississauga Canada Nepal (with photo feature)
Shishir Simkhada, Toronto. A blood donation program organized by the Lions Club of Mississauga Canada Nepal was completed on Saturday. 14 blood donors donated blood at the blood donation program organized by the club at the Mississauga Blood Service.
The blood donation program was concluded with the presence of NRNA Canada Senior Vice President Prajapati Sapkota, Nepalese Blood Donors Association (NBDA) President Lilanath Pandey, Lions Club of Mississauga Canada Nepal President Ghanshyam Bhattarai, and club officials and members, reflecting on the core principle of “Donate Blood – Donate Life”.
On that occasion, Dhruba Bhattarai, Ramesh Dhital, Damodar Poudel, Anil Gyawali, Suraj Tiwari, Lay Subedi, Ghanshyam Bhattarai, Dhrubamani Poudel, Prajapati Sapkota, Rishi Pokhrel, Abhas Rijal, Bikash Gautam, Basant Puri, and Arun Rijal donated blood.
The club has been coordinating a blood donation program every 3 months, and the club has been conducting park clean-up programs, tree planting programs, hunger relief programs, and various social works in the Mississauga and Brampton areas of Canada.
