India seeks alternative to US: Xi, Modi and Putin together for the first time in 10 years at BRICS summit
Agency. India has chosen the BRICS summit as an alternative to its cold relations with the US. Analysts have estimated that India is looking for an alternative as a new route for trade, taking advantage of the significant decline in the US economy internationally.
Meanwhile, for the first time in 10 years, Indian Prime Minister Modi, Chinese President Xi and Russian President Vladimir Putin have been seen together at the BRICS summit.
The BRICS summit is being held in the Indian capital, New Delhi. For that, Chinese President Xi has come to India, while Russian President Putin has also come to New Delhi.
Previously, these three leaders participated in the BRICS Summit held in Goa, India in 2016.
