Boeing suffers another major loss after 6 years
. After this incident, the American aircraft manufacturing company Boeing has once again come under criticism. The Dreamliner aircraft has also suffered such a major accident at a time when questions have been constantly raised about the safety of Boeing aircraft for several years.

According to the American newspaper ‘The New York Times’, the Boeing-787 Dreamliner has previously experienced technical problems. Some passengers were injured when a technical problem occurred while flying in the sky. However, the Aviation Safety Network has stated that there have been no human casualties on this model of aircraft so far.

Boeing has issued a statement responding to the accident, saying, “We are aware of the initial reports of this accident and are gathering additional information.”

The crash comes as Boeing faces legal challenges over two fatal crashes of its 737 Max aircraft in 2018 and 2019, which killed 346 people.

Last month, Boeing reached a settlement with the US Department of Justice, agreeing not to plead guilty to the crashes.

According to the agreement, Boeing will have to pay fines and provide financial assistance to the families of the victims. It will have to invest in safety and quality improvement programs. The agreement has yet to be approved by the court. Many families of the plane crash victims are opposing it.

Not only that, Boeing has also faced other safety problems in recent days.

In January 2024, a hole in a Boeing 737 Max 9 aircraft on an Alaska Airlines flight caused passengers to face strong winds. In August of that year, Boeing told regulators it would redesign some panels for its aircraft.

In April 2024, the US Civil Aviation Authority investigated a complaint filed by a Boeing engineer. The engineer had pointed out technical and structural defects in the quality of the Dreamliner aircraft. He said that some parts of the aircraft were not properly connected and could break after many flights. The aircraft that crashed in Gujarat is of this model.

Boeing said at the time, “We have conducted extensive testing on the Dreamliner. We conclude that this does not pose a risk to flight safety.”

Boeing Chief Executive Kelly Ortberg called 2025 the company’s “resurgence year.” The company reported better-than-expected financial results this year.

But the company’s share price fell by up to 8 percent on Thursday after the accident in India.
