Blood donation program organized by Lions Club of Mississauga Canada Nepal completed
Shishir Simkhada, Toronto. A blood donation program organized by the Lions Club of Mississauga Canada Nepal was completed on Saturday. Eight donors donated blood and plasma at the blood donation program organized by the club at Mississauga Blood Service.
The blood donation program was held in the presence of NRNA Canada President Jagan Sapkota, Senior Vice President Prajapati Sapkota, Nepalese Blood Donors Association (NBDA) President Lilanath Pandey, Lions Club of Mississauga Canada Nepal President Ghanshyam Bhattarai, and club officials and members. The program was held with the main theme of “Donate Blood – Donate Life”.
On that occasion, Dhruba Bhattarai, Ramesh Dhital, Damodar Poudel, Anil Gyawali, Suraj Tiwari, Ramesh Bhattarai, and Lay Subedi donated blood, while Lilanath Pandey donated plasma.

The club has been coordinating blood donation programs every 3 months, and the club has been conducting park clean-up programs, tree planting programs, hunger relief programs, and various social works in the Mississauga and Brampton areas of Canada.
