Cleanup by the Nepali community in Canada’s Sagarmatha Park
Toronto. The Nepali community has cleaned the Sagarmatha Park in Bramton, Canada today. Nepali community was present in the cleaning program organized by Bramsaga United Club.
Last year, the Bramton Municipality renamed the park after Nepali name and handed it over to the Nepali community. NCNC, the oldest organization of the Nepali community, has taken the responsibility of protecting the park.
The cleaning work of the park was done under the chairmanship of the president of the club, Chet Bikram Shahi. Birendra Poudel, a social campaigner related to cleanliness, informed that Bramton municipality provided the necessary materials for cleaning in the program held in conjunction with the general secretary of the club, Roshan KC.
The club, which was established 3 years ago, has been doing sports programs as well as cleaning programs every year. President Shahi informed that the club has also organized the third Veteran Cup football tomorrow, Sunday.
