There is no transformation of the country without youth, let’s unite in nation building: Prime Minister KP Oli
New York. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that he is clear that the country cannot transform without the youth. Prime Minister Oli, who arrived in New York to participate in the 79th United Nations General Assembly, addressed the World Leaders Forum organized by Columbia University and urged the youth to unite in nation building.
Prime Minister Oli said, ‘For employment opportunities, the Nepal government has brought programs like small-scale industries and ‘startups’. I am clear that the country cannot transform without the youth. Let’s unite in nation building.’
He urged the Nepalese youth abroad to return home and create opportunities for job development. Speaking as the main speaker in the dialogue on ‘Journey of Nepal’s Democracy and Economic Development’, Oli informed that the Nepal government has introduced programs like small-scale industries and ‘startups’ for employment opportunities. null
‘Nepal’s economic situation is not so weak. On the contrary, I am seeing great potential for its prosperity, which we will be able to achieve within a short period of time if we work hard’, Prime Minister Oli said, ‘We are a country with an emerging democracy. We are neighbors of economic powers like India and China. In that sense, Nepal is in a position to become a multifaceted economy for economic development.’
He said that only the number of students and youths who have gone abroad from Nepal will come out but the number of those who have returned home from abroad has not been counted and the number of those who have returned has also increased.
He informed that he is leading the government with two major parties in the parliament, which played a decisive role in the democratic movement of Nepal, and informed that he has resolved to maintain good governance and transparency. Oli said, ‘We have no other interest except to make Nepalis prosperous and happy. We are fully committed to the journey of prosperity.’
